Tom Marchal, President and CEO
Tom has been Float’s president and CEO since its inception. Prior to joining Float, Tom worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) for nearly 20 years, serving such clients as Caterpillar, General Electric, Waste Management and other Fortune 500 companies.
John Feser, COO
John is the COO and a founding member of Float. Before helping to form Float, John also previously worked for Andersen Consulting and Accenture, helping clients such as Caterpillar to deliver value and change for their employees and customers.
Oscar Marin, Vice President of Sales
Oscar is Float’s vice president of sales, helping potential clients understand how their problems can be solved by leveraging the power of mobile devices. Prior to joining Float, Oscar was a senior director of Viacom’s content distribution and marketing department. Oscar has also worked for AMC Networks, PK Network and Showtime Networks, helping to drive critical periods of distribution and revenue growth.
Chad Udell, Managing Director
As managing director of Float Mobile Learning, Chad has overall responsibility for all of our mobile projects, as well as making sure that the client’s strategies and business objectives are successfully developed into the final mobile learning product. Chad is the author of Learning Everywhere: How Mobile Content Strategies Are Transforming Training. He has worked with industry-leading Fortune 500 companies to develop customized interactive content for 15 years across all aspects of digital design and strategy. A recognized expert in design and development, Chad speaks regularly at national conferences on design, development and mobile learning.
Scott McCormick, Director of Client Relations
Scott has overall responsibility for the work that Float Mobile Learning performs on behalf of its clients. Building on a 27-year history in training, eLearning and mLearning efforts for Fortune 500 companies, Scott uses his experience to help guide companies to embrace and successfully implement new learning strategies. He regularly speaks on the critical strategies and steps organizations must take when integrating mobile learning into their total learning program. Scott is a founding member of Float.
Gary Woodill, Ed.D., Senior Analyst
As a senior analyst for Float Mobile Learning, Gary writes research reports, market analyses, and white papers, as well as articles for Float’s blog. Additionally, he conducts assessments and forecasting for emerging technologies. Gary is the author of “The Mobile Learning Edge” and the co-author of “Training and Collaboration with Virtual Worlds.” He holds an Ed.D. degree in applied psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto.
Jeanne Foster, Director of Operations
With more than 20 years of experience in both supervisory and project management, Jeanne directs the efforts of the various project teams to deliver the expected results. Throughout her career, Jeanne has managed projects and company operations to make sure that what is delivered to the client is what is expected. She directs the day-to-day operations of Float and has line responsibility for the projects and the team members.
Jim Ferolo, Director of User Experience
Jim has overall responsibility for the user experience for Float internal and external projects. A creative leader for more than 20 years, Jim’s formal training and research guide the development of interactive experiences, usability testing and creative team management. Jim has spoken at many conferences and serves as a liaison with many educational institutions on behalf of Float.
