After a highly inspiring mLearnCon in San Jose, several members of the Float team returned to the road quickly to set up shop at Techweek 2012 in Chicago. As we’ve mentioned, Float is hosting its second annual Float Mobile Learning Symposium in conjunction with Techweek for free on Monday, June 25. The event will take place at 1871, a brand-new startup incubator located on the 12th floor of the Merchandise Mart. We are hoping to shed light from outside experts on all things mobile, including the benefits they’ll offer your organization.

We’ve received several questions about the exact schedule of our event. Our morning schedule is targeted more for business and strategy professionals, while the afternoon is geared toward development and design.

For the first time, here is the full schedule of the Float Mobile Learning Symposium.

9:00 a.m. – Conference opener

9:20-10:05 – Jim Ferolo (Bradley University): How Technology Facilitates Social Learning

10:10-10:55 – Kris Rockwell (Hybrid Games): Building Game-Based Experiences for Learning

11:00-11:45 – Robert Gadd (OnPoint Digital): Enterprise Security for Mobile Learning

11:45-12:45 – Lunch

12:50-1:35 – Aaron Silvers (Problem Solutions): On Designing Experiences

1:40-2:25 – Steven Hoober (author of Designing Mobile Interfaces): The Responsive Principles Behind Designing for Mobile

3:00-3:45 – Shay Howe (Groupon): On Designing Experiences

4-5 – Panel discussion

For those wandering the Techweek Expo hall on the 8th floor, you’ll find us at booth #8-9075.
